When Divine Connection first approached us, they were operating as an event planning LLC while also managing a religious-based nonprofit. However, their biggest and most successful initiative—The Pastors Salute—was deeply rooted in community engagement, consistently drawing strong support year after year.
Through strategic discussions with the founder, we identified a crucial misalignment: while Divine Connection aimed to book various events, their most impactful work centered around nonprofit-driven initiatives. Our recommendation? Shift focus entirely to the nonprofit organization, allowing it to serve as the primary vehicle for hosting The Pastor’s Salute, along with other community-focused programs like the scholarship program.
By redefining their brand strategy, visual identity, and website, we helped Divine Connection embrace its true mission—serving the community through faith-driven initiatives.
Building a Memorable Brand Identity
To honor Divine Connection’s existing brand equity while giving it a more modern and meaningful presence, we refined their identity with a minimalist yet powerful approach:
Logo Refresh: We maintained the essence of their original design while simplifying its structure for versatility across digital and print platforms.
Refined Color Palette: Keeping the recognizable purple and gold hues, we softened them for a more elegant feel and introduced a rich emerald green, complemented by black and white—mimicking the intricate beauty of church stained glass.
Typography Enhancement: Accessibility was key, so we selected fonts that ensured readability across all mediums, from web to print materials.
By refining these core elements, we created a visual identity that feels timeless yet fresh, aligning with the organization’s mission and values.
